Dear Peeps,

Due to an unanticipated and terminal balls-up on my part, I have had to return to the UK from South America after a week.

All is well, I am safely ensconced in Middle England as I type and my travels will resume soon. But, regrettably, I can't podcast on the same theme.

Hopefully this inaugural ladinamerica podcast explains a little about why I'm going off to South America for 4 months; why I wanted to make a podcast; and where I'll be going. As well as telling you my grandad's alternative to foreign travel and a disappointing estimate of my ability with a compass.
